What Happened To Emily Goode After The Great Exhibition
by Raylyn Moore
Original typewritten manuscript, annotated in various hands. 298 pages. Published in 1978 by Donning/Starblaze Books, Norfolk CT.
This came from Verna Smith Trestail, the daughter of E. E. "Doc" Smith. It was sent to her by Kelly Freas, who edited and illustrated the book. Raylyn Moore was the wife of author Ward Moore.
The writing is by Verna Smith Trestail, the daughter of E. E. "Doc" Smith, who received the manuscript from Kelly Freas.
The title and dedication pages were typed on a different typewriter than the rest of the manuscript.
The note may have been from the editor to the illustrator. It does seem unusual that the original and not the carbon was sent to Mr. Freas.
