This was the author's copy he used to revise the text for the subsequent Ace paperback edition. There are lots of editorial changes, even to the point of changing "Joe Bain" to "He." The changes are in at least three different ink colors.

The inscription in the front of the book states: "Changes were made to reduce wordage--each word was like pulling off a toe nail--JV"

The rest of the scans will have to wait until I get a digital camera, since I do not want to damage the spine by scanning the interior pages.
