Letter of Provenance
Signed and dated July 16, 2000. Mr. Farmer sold the lot on Ebay through an intermediary. It was offered twice, and both times failed to meet the reserve. I purchased it outright for half the reserve price. I find it amazing that original manuscripts can be purchased so cheaply; they are now only available as computer printouts. |

Letter re Paperback Galleys
Signed and dated July 26, 1992. Mr. Farmer expressed surprise that the galleys were sent to him for correction, as that is not standard practice. Nevertheless, he did make some corrections. |
